with: Inés Ariza, under the direction of Prof. Caitlin Mueller

Under the direction of Prof. Caitlin Mueller, I worked on the planning and design of the International Association for Shell and Spatial Structures annual symposium, which was held in Boston and MIT. It brought together over 600 participants for a week-long event series, and was facilitated by a host of sponsors from academia and practice. We hosted a “Women in Design and Engineering” panel, and a “Young Designers’ Mentorship Lunch”. My role involved administration and logistics, as well as the graphic design for all the digital and print publications and materials. Our small team developed the branding and image of IASS 2018 to provide an engaging and well-designed conference to be remembered for years to come.

We also designed, compiled and edited the 400 page physical proceedings book in-house featuring every project presented at the conference. Authors took a copy of the book home at the end of this successful conference to every corner of the globe.
